About Us
We are a small but dedicated kennel in Queensland. My husband started with boxers back in 1971 when he got his first boxer. Over the years he developed his passion by breeding in NSW under the prefix WILLHETELL.
When we met my husband had 3 boxers Reuben who was the foundation of my husbands breeding he was brindle, Babe who was red and Sal who was a dark brindle. Reuben and Sal had just had a litter and Penny was a flashy brindle and white bitch who we decided to keep.
We moved to Qld in 1997 and Sal passed away after being here for a week, (she died from heat exhaustion) and we were gutted as a dear friend of ours kept Babe as she was much older. We mated Penny with a local and out of that litter Storm came along. Penny went into retirement and Storm went to a friends house we only had Reuben then Reuben passed. Since my husband was 7 he had not gone a day without owning a boxer and it was 2001. We looked in the paper and found a red litter in Ipswich he got in the car and raced there as there was only 2 pups left. he brought back Chloe a red with black masked bitch. This was a new era and JAKSAMLEE was created. JAKSAMLEE comes from our childrens name. We then brought 2 flashy red bitches and decided its time to show so I became a member so I could show them. We had limited sucess so we decided to breed Lilly and this is where we met Lorraine owner of Juelle boxers. We Lost that litter Lilly aborted the pups 2 weeks before they were due. We purchased a red and white female and a dark brindle and white male who were just pets. Lorraine gave us the contact for Kirkgate boxer and this is where we got our first real show quality boxer Kirkgate Whos Knockin who was brindle. Kricket was just a dream gaining her Aust title in no time at all. I then mated her and I kept a dark brindle and white bitch JAKSAMLEE Total Eclipse. Eclipse was my first home bred Aust champion. We bred Eclipse and was over the moon with what we received we kept a brindle and white male JAKSAMLEE Maka. Toby was only shown for 6 months due to work committments. Eclipse has just had another litter and again we are over the moon.
