JAKSAMLEE BOXERS

John has had boxers since 1968. He has always had a love for the breed and aquired his first boxer at the age of 4. Having had a strong bond with Fred he had to get another one as the love bug struck.

John has had many good named boxers from Gremlin to Whitechapel to Guntop and started a successful breeding program producing quailty and sound puppies living up to the boxer name. John and I met in 1995 where the love bug struck myself and started me off being involved in this breed. In 1997 we moved to Bundaberg Qld and started a new life for ourselves and our family (2 and 4 legged variety).

In 2002 we decided to start showing as John hadnt been into that side of it so after we got married JAKSAMLEE was born - created from our childrens names - Jake Samantha & Ashlee (our 4th child Nicholas was born after JAKSAMLEE was created). We brought 2 red flashy bitches from seperate kennels and did ok with these but not as good as we should. So we went to Juelle boxers, Athol and Lorraine Smitheringale who helped us with our showing and a credit goes to them both for helping us in the ring. We purchased a red bitch out of Athol and Lorraine's last litter from Aust Grand Ch Juelle Jump Start; not for showing just for our breeding program. She is one of our foundation bitches for our breeding program. Then we purchased 2 bitches and a dog from Kirkgate and this complements our bitch from Juelle.

We are always looking at other avenues of improving our stock to bring a better boxer to you for the future. Our children are interested in showing and we look forward to their success as they are the future to our wonderful breed.
